After an eventful weekend at the Metropolitan Swim Championship, CSI freshman Kathleen Bridgman has been named CSI's Female Athlete of the Week for the week of February 24, 2020. On day one of the championship Bridgman raced in the 500-yard Freestyle and then was a part of the CSI 400-yard Medley Relay team that placed 11th overall and got CSI in the point column. On Saturday, Bridgman was a qualifier individually for the 200-yard Freestyle where she eventually finished 21st with a time of 2:07.78. Later in Finals heats she helped CSI to a 12th place finish in the 200-yard Medley Relay and she then swam anchor of CSI's 9th-place team in the 800-yard Free Relay, setting a new school record in the process when the team finished in at 8:51.07. On Sunday, Bridgman capped her weekend by racing first in CSI's record-setting 400-yard Freestyle Relay, which saw CSI place 12th.
