The College of Staten Island men's tennis team left little to doubt this afternoon in what was their fifth match in six days, easily getting by York College, 9-0, as part of CUNYAC play in Jamaica, NY.  CSI improved to 7-3 overall and 4-1 in CUNY, whole York fell to 0-10, 0-5, respectively.

It was all Dolphins from start to finish after a delayed start due to rains that came in shortly before match time.  When play did start, the Dolphins won at both Nos. 1 & 2 doubles by identical 8-0 scores.  Raymond Hwang and Tao Lin did the honors in the top spot, while Andrew Adia and Alex Tsui were winners at No. 2.  In the third spot, CSI's Mitchel Voloshin and Michael Ashirov posted an 8-2 winner over YC's Abir Dupu and Davendra Ramnarain.

When play switched to singles, CSI also prevailed in lopsided fashion.  Adia (No. 1), Voloshin (No. 4) and Lin (No. 5) all scored 6-0, 6-0, wins.  Meanwhile Matthew Vesci, who played at No. 2, joined Tsui at No. 3 and Mohamed El Sayed at No. 6 in scoring 6-0, 6-1, wins.  That helped produce CSI's second 9-0 effort of the season.

The Dolphins will now be idle until Monday of next week, when they host Oneonta State at the CSI Tennis Center on Monday at 4:00pm.
