The College of Staten Island men's tennis team traveled to Brooklyn, NY this afternoon to take part in a CUNYAC match against Brooklyn College.  CSI came into today's match on a three-match win streak and extended it to four in a row with a 7-2 victory to improve to 5-3 and 3-1 in the CUNYAC.

Chris Pinto and Raymond Hwang once again showed their prowess as a team as they picked up an 8-2 win on court two of doubles.  The win improves the pair to 3-0 in CUNYAC play this season moving their overall mark on the year to 3-3.  Mitchel Voloshin and Tao Lin paired up to defeat Mattin Chevaughn and David Zabriskie, 8-1 to help the Dolphins take a 2-1 lead heading into singles play.

Michael Dozortzev took down Andrew Adia on the first court, 7-5, 6-4 which bumped Adia down to 2-4 on the year. His team was able to pick him up however as the Dolphins would sweep the rest of the games in singles play. Matthew Vesci took part in a nail biter on court two which saw it go three sets with Vesci coming out on top 10-4 in the final set. Mukhiddin Nuriddinov cruised past Albert Benjamin, 6-4, 6-2.

The Dolphins will put their win streak on the line again tomorrow afternoon when they travel to Abington, PA to take on Penn State – Abington at 3:30 pm.
