STATEN ISLAND, NY - The College of Staten Island women's basketball team will play their fourth nonconference game of the season when it hosts Mount Saint Mary, Tues., Dec. 3, at 7:00 p.m.
Despite opening the season on a sour note, the College of Staten Island women's basketball team has found its stride as the Dolphins have posted four consecutive wins. Staten Island grabbed its fourth win of the year last week in its first conference battle at York College, defeating the Cardinals in a convincing fashion with a score of 85-47.
While CSI has had a stellar start to the 2013-14 season, Mt. St. Mary's has not been so lucky as the Knights sit at 0-5 overall on the season, with a mark of 0-2 when on the road. With such a record, the advantage lies in the hands of Staten Island who outscores its opponents by an average of 14.2 points, while MSMC has fallen to its opponents by an average of 23 points.
After Tuesday's competition, CSI will return to the hardwood Friday, Dec. 6 at Brooklyn College.
