College of Staten Island Athletics

The College of Staten Island, a Division III member of the NCAA and the CUNY Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for various coaching vacancies in time for the 2010-11 academic year. Head Coach for coeducational Cheerleading as well as Assistant Coach positions for Men’s Soccer and Men’s Basketball are also being accepted. Resumes will be accepted until the close of June with appointments to be targeted for July 1. All of the above are part-time positions.

Responsibilities for all of the above include program administration, supervision, management, and participant and staff selection. Applicant must be able to implement programs in the areas of strategy, recruitment, conditioning, and student-athlete development. Responsibilities to also include fund-raising initiatives and programming.

These part-time positions requires a minimum of two years of collegiate or high school coaching or participation experience, applicable safety certification as deemed necessary by the NCAA.
