MEN'S TENNIS CONFERENCE ALL-STARS ANNOUNCED
Konstantin Trofimovich gets Player of the Year while Paul Ricciardi captures Coach of the Year

The CUNY Athletic Conference has names their Men’s Tennis All-Stars for the 2010 season and the College of Staten Island has made a dent on the list. Konstantin Trofimovich was awarded Player of the Year for the second consecutive season while sophomore Patrick Thomas has made the Second Team All-Stars. CSI Head Coach Paul Ricciardi was named CUNYAC Coach of the Year and Joe Taranto was given an honorable mention.
Also, named CUNYAC 2009 Player of the Year, Trofimovich had a perfect season in CUNYAC No. 1 singles play with a 5-0 record. The senior finished his doubles record 7-4 overall.
Splitting his time at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, Thomas has been an intricate part of the CSI Tennis team. He sports a 13-6 overall singles record and 5-1 in the conference, going 6-1 at the number 1 spot and 7-5 in No. 2 singles. The sophomore holds a 10-7 record in doubles.
Taranto had a booming 15-4 record in doubles play. He held a perfect 2-0 record with Thomas at No. 1 doubles and a 6-1 record with Trofimovich also at the number 1 spot. The junior also had an 11-6 record in singles play.
Fourth season as head coach of his alma mater, Ricciardi helped CSI to its second consecutive Regular Season title with a 7-1 conference record and 16-7 overall. The Dolphins advanced to CUNYAC final for 1st time since 2002.
