The Dolphins and Bearcats only met once this regular season, with Baruch taking the Dolphins down, 74-62, at the Sports & Recreation Center on February 6. The Dolphins took a 35-34 lead going into halftime, but couldn’t sustain the effort, as the Bearcats’ Megan Bouwens led the way with 16 points. Danielle McLaughlin led the Dolphins with 14 points the last time the two sides met. CSI owns the all-time series vs. the Bearcats, 23-13, but Baruch has won the last eight meetings. This will be the teams’ 9th CUNYAC postseason meeting, with both teams splitting the previous eight meetings.
The Dolphins punched their ticket to the semifinal round after a 68-54 win over No. 5 York College in quarterfinal play this past Sunday. Baruch got past No. 8 Medgar Evers, 66-46, in their quarterfinal.
