The College of Staten Island’s women’s and men’s basketball teams will take part in the first round of the 45th Annual City Univeristy of New York Athletic Conference/ Con Edison Post Season Tournament this weekend.
After finishing the season 12-13 overall and 6-7 in the conference the men clinched the 6th seed in the tournament. With that they will travel to New York, NY where # 3 Baruch College will host the quarterfinal round on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm. Despite leading the all-time series over Baruch College, 42-16, the Bearcats have won the last 8 games over the CSI men. The last time the team’s met was on February 6th where Baruch took an 89-83 win over CSI in overtime.
The women of CSI finished in the fourth seed with a 9-4 record in the CUNY and 12-11 overall. They will host # 4 York College on Sunday, February 21st at 2:00 pm. York College finished an 8-5 in the conference and 13-11 overall. You can follow the game through live stats by clicking on this link

The women of CSI lead the all-time series over York College, with a lopsided, 49-6 record with the Dolphins taking a win in the last 20 meetings. The team’s last meet was just a few weeks ago on February 6th where CSI defeated the Cardinals in a close 69-68 victory.
