Kristen Panariello led the Dolphins with 16 points.
The BC Women's Basketball Team cruised past the CSI Dolphins 89-60.  The win brought Brooklyn’s conference record to 9-4 and earned the team its first ever CUNYAC South Division title.

The Bulldogs jumped out to an early 10-2 lead in front of the home fans, as Justine O'Callahan finished of the run with a put back. Staten Island responded with a 12-8 run of their own, capped off by a Mallory Ameneiros jumper to cut the lead to 18-14 with 10:20 remaining in the half. A steal and lay-up by Sabrina Washington would extend the BC lead to 10, 30-20 with 3:38 to go in the half, before going on a 12-9 run to end the period, taking a 42-29 lead into the locker room.

The second half saw Brooklyn dominate as CSI could never cut the lead to less than 12 points, and the Bulldogs quickly extended their lead to 20, cruising to the 29-point victory.

Despite the loss, the Dolphins saw four players score in double-digits. Kristen Panariello led the Dolphins with 16 points. Katelyn Hepworth had 13 points and 10 rebounds while Danielle McLaughlin added 11 points.

Frances Lyons steadied the Bulldogs with 24 points and 14 rebounds, including nine offensive boards, while shooting 65% from the floor. O'Callahan contributed with 12 points and six boards.

The Dolphins will host York College on Sunday in the first round on the CUNYAC Tournament. The game time is yet to be determined. Stay tuned to www.csidolphins.com for updates.
