Freshman Herschel Jenkins had a season-high 20 points despite the Dolphins loss to Brooklyn College.
The Brooklyn College Men's Basketball Team defeated the College of Staten Island on Sunday afternoon at the West Quad Gymnasium, defeating the Dolphins by the score of 102-86. The Dolphins finish their regular season 6-7 in the CUNYAC and 11-13 overall.

The Bulldogs were able to extend their first half lead to as many as 22 points four times during the stanza, and went to the locker room on a Daniel Nisbett three-pointer as time expired to extend the lead back to 22, 53-31.

The second half so a lot of back and forth play as Brooklyn ballooned the lead to as many as 26, however the Dolphins made a run of their own and were able to cut the lead all the way to 12, 91-79 with 4:34 remaining.  After the teams traded baskets, another Nisbett three-pointer opened the lead back to 15, and took all hope away from the upstart CSI squad.

The Dolphins were led by Jordan Young who had 20 points, 11 caroms and six assists on the day. Freshman Herschel Jenkins also added 20 points shooting 7 for 9 from the field and pulled 7 rebounds.

Richard Jean-Baptiste had 20 points while Darnell Cudjoe had a big double-double, notching 17 points, while shooting 60%, and adding14 rebounds.

CSI finishes fourth in the South Division and will be hosted by Baruch College on Saturday for the first round of the CUNYAC Tournament. The time of the game is yet to be determined.
