MEET THE TEAM
FOREMANSN_2023JOSEPH FOREMAN
Athletic Communications Coordinator / Play-by-Play Commentator

A voice that many have become familiar with over the years, Foreman joined CSI Sportsnet in 2016.  Three years later in the summer of 2019, Foreman was elevated to the role of Assistant Sports Information Director, a position he spent one year in.  Foreman stepped down from that role in the summer of 2020, but he returned to Sportsnet when intercollegiate athletic competition resumed in 2021.  Beginning in the 2021-2022 athletic year, Foreman took over as the lead play-by-play commentator for every Dolphins home contest across all sports.  This paved the way for his return to the administrative staff in the role of Athletic Communications Coordinator in 2022, the position he currently occupies.  Earlier that same year, he co-founded the PDF Sports Network which offers local sports organizations the opportunity to receive a professional broadcast on a budget.

BIVONASN_2023NICHOLAS BIVONA
Lead Color Commentator / Lead Broadcast Engineer

Bivona served in a variety of different roles upon joining the CSI gameday staff.  Early in his tenure, he was the lead engineer for Sportsnet broadcasts, but it wasn't long before he put on the headset for the first time.  Making his on-air debut during the 2021-2022 Basketball season, Bivona spent much of the following spring calling CSI Dolphins Baseball and Softball.  Beginning in 2023, he called a larger share of Dolphins home games, and in 2024, he took over as the lead color commentator for Baseball and Softball.  The following year, he made the permanent move to the commentary desk as the lead color commentator for Men's & Women's Soccer.  Finally, he took over as lead color commentator for Basketball in December of 2025 in addition to a role as the lead broadcast engineer.  Alongside Foreman, the duo now serves as the voices behind nearly all CSI Athletics broadcasts.  Outside of his work at CSI, Bivona has also worked on the gameday staff for the New York Jets and with the PDF Sports Network.

LOUISSN_HSLOUIS MATRONE
Lead Statistician

Matrone joined the gameday staff during the 2021-2022 season and immediately began working as a statistician.  He scored nearly every Dolphins home game that season and assisted in the engineering of Sportsnet broadcasts alongside his role on stats.  Later that season, Matrone made his debut on headset as a special guest joining the broadcast team to discuss in-game scoring decisions during Baseball season.  The following year, Matrone was elevated to lead statistician and given an increased role in the production of Sportsnet broadcasts.  He became responsible for assisting in the engineering of pregame coverage, coordinating the setup of backdrops for interviews, and selecting the player of the game.  Away from CSI, Matrone has worked for Madison Square Garden and has served as an engineer and color commentator for the PDF Sports Network.

CalHS25JOSEPH CALABRESE
Statistician / Color Commentator / Public Address Announcer

Calabrese joined the CSI Athletics gameday staff during the 2022-2023 season for scattered appearances on Public Address, but he later became a regular part of the gameday experience with his work on stats.  Beginning in the 2024-2025 season, he became the primary spotter for the stats desk at all CSI Basketball home games.  This was coupled with appearances on CSI Sportsnet as a color commentator and additional work as a PA announcer.  A Marist College graduate, Calabrese gained experience working in Athletics and Sports Information during his time as a student.  He has also worked in Digital Media Management for NBC Sports, CBS Sports, Major League Baseball, and the National Hockey League.  Finally, he is the co-host of the You Know I'm Right Podcast alongside College of Staten Island Social Media Manager Nicholas Durst, and he has worked in additional broadcasting roles for the PDF Sports Network.
